The Diviners 2017 at Northeast Alabama Community College

The Diviners directed by Mark Webb was my second main stage design at NACC following Almost Maine I needed to create a look that was as iconic as my aurora borealis. So I began working on the river, made up of 2 GAM Film FX's and 2 Apollo GOBO rotators I was able to layer my river that would contrast against itself during a blackout. This combined with projections I was able to give the river life with a sharp contrast of being above water and under water as depicted in the two full stage shots below. I was very satisfied with my river and the haunting feeling of suffocation we were able to create in that final scene.
