Hurricane Diane 2020 at UAH Theatre

Hurricane Diane directed by Karen Baker was the only main stage design I've had at UAH promptly followed by the Covid-19 Pandemic. The goal with Hurricane Diane was to create a look as dynamic as the god Dionysus. Cutting the low burn from no color conventionals with sharp colors of passion and desire. Using deep purples and radiant magentas from my downlight I was able to give this primal look while staying out of my projection master Aiden's way. Overall I really enjoyed this design and I was able to accomplish my goal with a minimalist approach.
